Description
JK-06 NP is a naphthalene-based water reducing concrete admixture, with a set retarding effect for concrete in hot temperature which delays concrete setting time. It reduces the heat hydration while delaying the peak of heat hydration and reducing the temperature cracks.
JK-06 NP is compounded by some of retarding composition, stabilizer and reinforcing composition etc. It complies with ASTM C 494 Type D, GB8076-2008 and GB50119-2003.
Uses
JK-06 NP is ideal concrete admixtures for all kinds of silicate cement prepared in a variety of architectural concrete, mass concrete, road concrete, port concrete and water conservancy and electricity engineering.
Application above 5oC.
Caution
Combined with other admixtures must be tested before use.
Not be suitable for the cement with the anhydrite or the fluorine stone coagulant.
Not apply to steam-curing concrete.
Do not excess mixing.
Advantage
Reducing 8-12% of water but low dosage from 0.75-1.0%.
It has a certain air-entraining performance to increase the impermeability and the antifreeze performance.
A good retarding performance, mixed with 1%, it has 1-3h retardation.
Dosage
0.75-1.0% by weight of cement but a limit dosage not over 1.5%, the excess dosage will affect the growth of the early strength of concrete, there may even be a long time without solidification phenomenon.
